this is what i'm into, take it or leave it

Survivorman

i used to be a big "man vs. wild" fan. how can you not love bear grylls? beefcake navy seal who owns his own island? then i realized the REAL wild man is Les Stroud, a 43 year old outdoorsman who gets dropped off in the middle of nowhere ALL BY HIMSELF! no camera crew, no nothing. he's always sort of out of breath, exasperated, nauseous - all of which i like. men on the brink of panic and desperation! y'all know i love em vulnerable.

DIR-ECT-IONS

Yo, if you haven't heard yet, if you live in SF, LA, or NYC, you can dial DIR-ECT-IONS, tell the automated thing your cross streets and where you want to go, and it will TEXT YOU directions. amazing.

Chopin's Prelude in E Minor in an ad for Halo 3

Quasi-Bulldkyes

Jackie Warner and Jodi Foster to be specific. soft yet tough. hot...sorta. but both undoubtedly badass. i think i sort of let go of my feminist roots after my year long thesis writing hell in 05. but i feel it coming back. i dont know, ever since my birthday i've been feeling less interested in men and more interested in puppies, tech expos, dancing, robots and....
